Research integrity is the cornerstone of scientific advancement. UNIVERSITAS promotes honesty, transparency, accountability, fairness, and respect throughout the entire publication process. Every author, reviewer, editor, and publisher shares the responsibility of preserving the credibility and trustworthiness of the scholarly record.
1. Author Responsibilities
Authors shall submit original and unpublished manuscripts that accurately present their research methods, data, findings, and conclusions. Plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, image manipulation, and other forms of research misconduct are strictly prohibited. Authors must appropriately acknowledge all sources, disclose financial and non-financial conflicts of interest, identify funding sources, ensure accurate authorship attribution, and obtain all required ethics approvals and informed consent where human participants, animals, or sensitive data are involved.
2. Editorial Responsibilities
Editors evaluate manuscripts exclusively on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, significance, ethical compliance, and relevance to the Journal's aims and multidisciplinary scope. Editorial decisions are made without discrimination and through a confidential double-blind peer review process. Editors shall manage conflicts of interest, investigate allegations of misconduct following COPE guidance, and issue corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions whenever necessary to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
3. Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers shall provide objective, constructive, confidential, and timely evaluations based solely on academic merit and their disciplinary expertise. They must disclose any conflicts of interest, decline review invitations when impartiality cannot be maintained, protect the confidentiality of all submitted materials, and promptly notify the Editorial Office of suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, ethical concerns, or other research misconduct identified during the review process.
4. Publisher Responsibilities
The Publisher shall preserve editorial independence, support the implementation of internationally accepted publication ethics, maintain secure digital preservation of published content, and ensure transparent procedures for handling corrections, retractions, withdrawals, and sanctions arising from confirmed cases of research misconduct. Editorial decisions shall remain free from commercial, institutional, or political influence.
